Making a Case for Women

Indiana State Convention
April 29, 2000

The 2000 Indiana State Convention will be at The Patio restaurant, 7706 Broadway, Merrillville. South Lake County is serving as our host branch with Gary-Merrillville and Calumet Area branches assisting.

Our tentative schedule is:

8:00 a.m. – continental breakfast and registration

9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. – Keynote speaker on Legal Advocacy Fund

9:45 a.m. – break

10:00 a.m. – welcome and business meeting/election of officers

10:45 a.m. – break/EF/LAF sales

11:00 a.m. – Social Security and Medicare sessions

12:00 noon – lunch/awards, Eleanor Roosevelt recipient as speaker

1:30 p.m. – break/EF/LAF sales

1:45 p.m. – idea exchange/dialogue

3:00 p.m. – Membership/Education: The Wave of the Future?

3:30 p.m. – installation of officers, awarding of door prize, adjournment

Registration fee will be about $20. The spring issue of the Indiana Bulletin will have complete details and a registration form.
