FINAL GAME OF WEEKEND WASHED OUT

ATLANTA - The scheduled fourth game of this weekend's series between Indiana State and Georgia State has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the metro Atlanta area this morning. First pitch was scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (ET).

ISU won the series with the Panthers by a 2-1 count, defeating GSU by scores of 18-6 (on Friday) and 5-1 (on Saturday). Georgia State was victorious by a score of 3-2 in eight innings in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.

The weekend was highlighted by the strong Sycamore bats as well as the pitching performance on Saturday of junior right-hander Ryan Tatusko who threw seven shutout, no-hit innings and struck out nine Panthers.

Indiana State returns to action on Friday, March 2 in their home debut when they host South Dakota State at Sycamore Field. First pitch on Friday is set for 3:00 p.m. ISU will also entertain the Jackrabbits on Saturday (March 3) at 1:00 p.m., and on Sunday (March 4), also at 1 p.m.
