INDIANA STATE ADJUSTS WEEKEND BASEBALL SCHEDULE

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State baseball team, under the direction of first-year head coach Lindsay Meggs, will have to wait two days longer to begin the home portion of the schedule as this weekend’s games versus South Dakota State have been pushed back due to travel concerns for the Jackrabbits as well as an unfavorable weather forecast for the Terre Haute area on Friday and Saturday.

This weekend’s three-game series, originally scheduled to begin Friday, March 2 will now begin with a doubleheader on Sunday, March 4 at 1:00 p.m. (ET). The series’ third game will be on Monday, March 5 with first pitch scheduled for 3:00 p.m.

Indiana State hosts Indiana University on Tuesday, March 6, beginning at 3:00 p.m. (ET).

The Sycamores are 2-1 on the season, having won 2-of-3 games at Georgia State this past weekend. ISU was led at the plate by senior Ryan Bond, who was 6-of-11, as well as junior right handed pitcher Ryan Tatusko, who threw seven innings of no-hit, shut-out baseball last Saturday en route to striking out nine Georgia State batters.
