Sycamore Women Earn National Academic Honor

Terre Haute, Ind. - The Sycamores maintain a 3.66 grade-point average in the classroom under the direction of head coach John Gartland. The 3.66 GPA qualifies the Sycamores as an All-Academic Cross Country Team With Distinction.

To qualify as an All-Academic Cross Country Team, a squad must have a cumulative 3.00 GPA. Teams earning distinction must own a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA. A total of five Missouri Valley Conference schools were among the 84 earning distinction (Indiana State - 3rd, Bradley - 4th, Southern Illinois - 37th, Illinois State - 53rd and Evansville - 83rd).
