Meet Information
1. Please park in designated areas. Officials
will direct you to the correct area.
2. Please provide for the security of your own valuables. Gear will be bagged at the starting line and transported to the back of the chute exit for each race.
3. Race instructions will be given at the starting line. All runners must report to the line 15 minutes before their race. The start will be in accordance with NCAA rules, a dropped flag at the firing of the pistol.
4. Please be sure your runners wear their numbers on the front of their uniform.
5. We are using the chip system at the finish line. Your runners will not be allowed out of the chute area until they place their chips in the receptacles provided. We have chairs provided for your runners under the finish line building to take the chips out of their shoe laces. Please advise your athletes that they need to accomplish this before they leave the chute area. You will be charged $10.00 for chips that are not returned.
6. Results will be available soon after the completion of each race at the course. We ask all coaches to stay out of the press box. Please call on any of the ISU Track and Cross Country staff to help solve problems.
7. There will be two lead vehicles for each race. Please have your fans stand outside the double line. A trainer's cart will follow the athletes.
8. The course is double-lined, and all kilometers are clearly marked by signs. Mile marks for both races are painted on the ground. Course marshals will direct all coaches and spectators to stay behind the green fencing on the straightaway at the start, when the runners come by, and at the finish.
9. Spectators will be charged $5.00 per car, which will be collected as cars enter the grounds. Please advise your parents and fans of this.
10. Portable toilets are located at the starting line and near the finish.
11. Only officials and competing athletes are allowed inside the fence at the finish.
12. The observation deck on top of the press box is for official use only.
13. You may run up to 12 runners per team in the team races. Please have all of your additional runners compete in the Open Races. We will not compile results for the Open Races, but we will start the finish line clock. Please time your own runners.
