Women's Individual Champion - Casey Owens, Southwest Missouri State
"Running in a pack is something we do at practice and we like to do it at the beginning of races as well. It's nice to have teammates up there running with you. It depends on how you feel as to when you break away."
"Though it was my first time running the course, I was satisfied with it. It is my favorite course in Indiana."
Women's Team Champion - Houston Franks, Southwest Missouri State
"It looks like we ran really well today. Our whole goal at the meet today was to defend our championship, and we will enjoy it this weekend, before we start thinking about the regionals on Monday. The course is great. The best part is that you can get several points of view of your runners on the course. The weather did not affect us as a team because we don't really have a preference between hot and cold."
Men's Individual Champion - Christian Goy, Illinois State
"It was a good pace. I took the lead with about a mile to go, but he (Kjetil Ramstad) was tough. It was a little bit cold, but this is cross country."
"When you're running, you don't see people on the sidelines, I just look at the person in front of me and then you put the hammer down."
"I wish the race was a little bit slower, but it was ok. I'm looking forward to coming back for the NCAA Championship."
Men's Team Champion - Chris Bailey, Illinois State
"We ran a good steady team race today. It was very nice to see Christian win the individual race today in the cold conditions. It is great to see our team run together and win today. It we had a good effort from all of our runners in order to win the team title today."
