INDIANA STATE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY GARNERS ALL-ACADEMIC DISTINCTION

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State men’s cross country program was named a 2005 All-Academic Team with distinction by the United State Cross Country Coaches Association today (March 7). The Sycamores were fourth in the country with an overall GPA of 3.51 as a team.

To be named with distinction, a team had to have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Indiana State ranked higher than such schools as Yale, Stanford and UCLA. Three other schools from the Missouri Valley Conference garnered the distinction honor, including Missouri State, Drake and Evansville.
