yards ... Was 70% (7-10) on attempts from 30-39
yards, with his season-best 39-yarder coming at
SMS ... Enjoyed his best day during a 3-for-3
outing at home against Eastern Illinois in which
he hit from 31, 34 and 26 yards on the day ...
Had five games in which he did not miss any
attempts .... Used a fake field goal alignment
to drop a perfect 21-yard punt inside the Ball
State five-yard line during the season opening

High School — A
three-year letterwinner at Bishop Verot High
School, Hooper made 24 of 30 (82 percent) field
goals, including a perfect 7-for-7 on attempts
of 40 yards or more ... His longest field goal
measured at 47 yards. Scoring a career 192
points, Hooper was near perfect on PAT’s,
connecting on 120 of 125 (96 percent) ...
Doubling as a punter, he placed 50 percent of
