2005 — First Team
All-Gateway Football Conference performer ...
First Sycamore wide receiver to earn All-Gateway
honors since Charles Swann in 1991 ... Is the
school’s all-time career leader with 147 career
pass receptions ... Has 1,850 career pass
reception yards, 198 yards shy of ISU school
record ... Named the Gateway Offensive Player of
the Week for his conference-record, 17-catch
performance against Murray State (Sept. 17) ...
Set a school record with 77 pass receptions
during the year while amassing 849 receiving
yards to lead the team ... Those 849 receiving
yards were the second-most in the history of the
school ... Caught five touchdown passes, and
passed for another on a fake field goal attempt
that scored against Western Kentucky ... Went
over the 100-yard receiving mark three times,
including a season-best 194-yard effort at
Missouri State – the third-best single-game
effort by a receiver in school history ...
Caught at least four passes in each Gateway
Conference contest, and has caught at least one
pass in each of his last 14 conference games
dating back to 2003 ... Hauled in a career-long
71-yard pass from Blayne Baggett against Western
Illinois ... That 71-yard catch and run was the
Sycamores’ longest play from scrimmage.
2004 — All-Gateway
Football Conference Second Team selection ...
Paced the squad and finished second in the
conference with 55 receptions – a school
single-season record ... Caught at least two
passes in each game while becoming the first
Sycamore since 1988 to record three 100-yard
receiving games ... Hauled in a season-best 10
passes for 114 yards at Western Kentucky ...
Most yards in a game came against Illinois
State, when he put up five catches for 161
yards, including a 58-yard catch-and-run which
tied the contest against the ‘Birds and sent the
game into overtime ... Also topped the 100-yard
plateau with a 130-yard performance against SMS
... Finished the season with 55 catches for 760
yards and two TDs.
2003 — Named the Gateway
Football Conference’s Offensive Player of the
Week following the Eastern Illinois contest ...
Caught five passes for 104 yards in the contest
while scoring once ... Was third on the team
with 15 catches, amassing 241 yards — an average
of 16.1 yards per catch ... Reached the end zone
twice during the year, once against EIU and once
versus Western Illinois ... Long play was a
34-yard scoring strike from Jake Schiff against
EIU ... Recorded three multi-reception contests
including Eastern Illinois (5), Western Illinois
(2) and Western Kentucky (3).
2002 — Sat out the season
as a redshirt.
High School — A standout
receiver while at South Newton High, Logan
earned Associated Press and Bloomington
Herald-Times All-State accolades as well as
being an IFCA Top-50 selection following his
senior campaign ... Over his three-year varsity
career, he ranked second among all-time Indiana
prepsters with 162 catches for 3,271 yards and
an Indiana schoolboy-record 48 TDs while
defensively he nabbed 23 interceptions.
