SYCAMORES FALL IN BRACKETBUSTER GAME TO MIAMI (OHIO)

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Indiana State was limited to just one point in the first 10 minutes of the second half as the Miami University Redhawks rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat the Sycamores 70-58 in the Hulman Center Saturday afternoon.

The Sycamores played well in the opening half. The Redhawks led early but the Sycamores fought back, tying the game at 12. Trent Wurtz scored off an assist from Mick Yelovich and added a free throw to put ISU on top 20-18. Miami scored to tie the game for the third time but the Sycamores ran off 10 straight points to take a double digit lead. ISU had to hold on in the final two minutes and led 38-31 at the intermission.
