SARNIA, Ont. –
The
Indiana State men’s basketball team continued
their strong run during its three-game Canadian
exhibition tour with a 94-59 victory over
Lambton College late Sunday evening.
Seven of ISU’s
10 players reached double figures scoring, led
by guard Gabe Moore who posted 14 points for the
Sycamores. Adam Arnold and Marico Stinson scored
13 a piece, while Norman Wells posted 12, Mick
Yelovich scored 11 and Cole Holestrom as well as
Brent Leitnaker added 10.
The Sycamores
were ahead of Lambton by a count of 50-27 at
halftime. Lambton came out of the gates in a
press that ISU was able to easily score against
with drive and penetration baskets. A stiff
Sycamore defense forced Lambton turnovers and
provided ISU with easy transition baskets.
Other scorers
for ISU were Russell Trudeau with six, Todd
McCoy with four and Harry Marshall with a pair.
Indiana State
concludes it three-game exhibition swing with a
Monday (Sept. 4) game early against Guelph
College. |
