IT TRAVEL AND INDIANA STATE TEAM UP TO OFFER TRAVEL PACKAGES FOR MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CONFERENCE TOURNAMENTS

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sycamore fans interested in supporting the Indiana State University men’s and women’s basketball teams at the Missouri Valley Conference tournaments this year will be able to take advantage of two travel packages which will be offered by I.T. Travel, Inc.

The 2007 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held March 1-4 at the Scotttrade Center in St. Louis, Mo.

The MVC Men’s Basketball travel package, which includes roundtrip transportation from Terre Haute to St. Louis, tickets to all sessions and guaranteed hotel reservations for three nights at The Four Points Sheraton in Fairview Heights, Ill. costs, $254 per person. The travel package includes shuttle transportation from the hotel to the Scottrade Center and ISU Alumni Events. The room rate negotiated at The Four Points Sheraton is $95 per night. Fans traveling on the MVC Men’s Basketball travel package will pay for their hotel at time of check-in (hotel cost not reflected in the MVC Men’s Basketball package pricing).

Fans may also contact I.T. Travel for transportation only ($160) and hotel only options ($95 per night, plus booking fee of $18). The deadline to make travel and hotel reservations in the ISU room block is February 8th.

The 2007 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament will be played March 8-11 at the Drake Knapp Center on the campus of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

The MVC Women’s Basketball package, which includes roundtrip transportation from Terre Haute to Des Moines, tickets to all sessions and guaranteed hotel reservations for three nights at the Sheraton West in Des Moines, costs $156.00. The room rate for a two-room suite at the Sheraton West is $119.00 per person or $89.00 for a king or double. Fans traveling on the MVC Women’s Basketball package will pay for hotel at time of check-in (hotel cost not reflected in the MVC Women’s Basketball package pricing). Round-trip transportation only packages are available for only $107 per person. Hotel only options are also available through I.T. Travel.
