2005 – Started in 30 games, posting a .297 batting average, the second highest for the Sycamores…Hit 6 doubles and 1 homerun, recording 7 RBI’s…


2004 – Starting catcher saw action in 48 contests, starting 45…Recorded a .250 batting average with 31 hits… Drove in 18 runs with eight doubles and a home run, which came against Drake… Posted a season-best 3-of-4 effort from the plate with five RBI’s and a run scored versus the Bulldogs.


High School – Spychaj was named the 2003 Long Beach Press Telegram Player of the Year in addition to earning several other honors…Selected to the all-state, all-city and All-Marine League teams in addition to being named All-Area Torrance Daily Breeze.
