FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Today’s Indiana State vs. Eastern Illinois softball doubleheader has been postponed due to travel problems that arose following the contests’ original postponement on Wednesday. No makeup date has been scheduled.

Despite the heavy snows early in the week, Price Field would have playable this afternoon because of the dedicated work of the Indiana State coaching staff, administration and players who labored on Wednesday to remove snow, ice and water from the field.

ISU opens the home portion of its Missouri Valley Conference schedule on Saturday, March 25 when they host Wichita State for a doubleheader. A single-game on Sunday will conclude the three-game series.
