February 16, 2007 SEASON OPENING TOURNAMENT CANCELLED, SYCAMORES JOIN LION SOFTBALL SCRAMBLE AT SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – It was announced today (Feb. 16) that the weekend opener to the Sycamore season at UT-Martin in the annual Hospitality House Tournament has officially been cancelled due to rainy and cold conditions at the SkyHawk Softball Complex. In response to this cancellation, participants of the Hospitality House Tournament, have decided to compete in the Lion Softball Scramble this weekend on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana (Hammond, La.). The action begins with a round-robin schedule, in which ISU will participate in a trio of games on Saturday, February 17. ISU faces Ball State at 10 a.m. followed by Saint Louis at 12:30 p.m. and host Southeastern Louisiana at 5 p.m. On Sunday, tournament games begin at 10 a.m. with opponents to be determined based on Saturday’s round-robin results.
