31, 2007 SYCAMORE SOFTBALL WEEKEND SERIES AT UNI SUSPENDED SATURDAY, TWINBILL SET FOR SUNDAY CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Rain has forced the postponement of games on Day One of the Sycamores doubleheader against conference opponent University of Northern Iowa Panthers. Wet field conditions at Panther Park led to the decision to cut Saturday’s twinbill to a single game, but a downpour forced officials to suspend play in that contest with one out in the bottom of the first inning. The teams will
resume the game at noon Sunday before playing a second contest,
scheduled to begin at approximately 2:00 p.m. central time.
