Summer Camps

- Instruction is geared toward the advanced
player. Development will focus on refining skills and enhancing concepts
of team play. Campers will also be given information concerning the
college recruiting process as they look to choose the right college.
- Includes instruction, insurance and camp
t-shirt
- ONLY $250 resident; $200 commuter
- Resident camp includes 3 nights in
residence hall and meals
- Commuter camp includes 2 days' lunch and 3
days' dinner
- Campers who register before
June 2, 2006
receive a $15 discount
- Sycamore Squad members and children of ISU
faculty and staff receive a $10 discount
Youth Day Camp (June
19-22, 2006; 9-4)
Eligibility: Entering Grades K-7 in Fall 2005
Check-in 8:00 a.m., June 19, 2006
- Instruction is geared towards the
fundamental skills and techniques of basketball. Players will be
introduced to the fundamentals of various offensive and defensive skills and
will participate in station work as well as various competitions.
- Fee includes instruction, insurance, and
camp t-shirt
- Only $135
- Lunch in ISU Commons from 12-1:00 daily
(Campers may pack or purchase lunch)
- Sycamore Squad members and children of ISU
Faculty and staff receive a $10
discount
- Campers who register before
June 2, 2006
receive $15 off

Arena Gym From I-70 eastbound (St. Louis)
Travel to Hwy 41 (3rd Street),
turn north.
Travel 2.7 miles to Chestnut Street.

turn north.

Important Camp Details
Facilities
The camps will
utilize 6 full courts in the ISU Arena. A swimming pool will be
available for periodic use throughout each session.
Housing
Team Camp
Residents will stay in JONES HALL. Jones Hall is located south of the ISU
Arena. High Intensity Camp Residents will stay in Jones Hall. Linens will be available in each room. A fan is suggested. Campers
with a roommate will need to arrive together.
Medical Policy
An athletic trainer will be on
site and on call during all sessions for the prevention and care of injuries
to campers. Each camper application must have a parent signature of release
of liability for participation in all sessions of camp. NO CAMPER MAY PARTICIPATE
WITHOUT THIS PORTION OF THE APPLICATION COMPLETED.
Discipline
Any serious violation of regulations,
such as willful damage to the school's property, or other behavior deemed
detrimental to the group will result in immediate dismissal. There will
be no refund of tuition upon expulsion.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
1. A notice of
camper cancellation/request for refund must be sent in writing in order
to be valid for a refund.
2. If a refund
request is received 30 or more days before the first day of a session,
the full amount of payment will be refunded.
3. If a refund
request is received within 30 days of a session, the amount of deposit
will be charged as an administrative fee.
4. No refunds
will be made to any camper sent home for disciplinary reasons.
Camp Store
There will be Indiana State Women's
Basketball apparel available to purchase during each session. Drinks and snacks
will also be available for purchase.
Awards Presentation
Family and Friends are invited
to join the campers and staff for the awards presentation at the conclusion
of each camp session.
What to Bring
Socks, a good pair of basketball sneakers,
tee-shirts, shorts, sweatshirt or light jacket, underwear, pajamas, towels,
swimsuit, toiletries, alarm clock and portable fan (MUST!)
