on the third day of competition at the USA Track and Field Championships

seventh-place qualifying time of 47.22. The native of South Bend,

a 16 of 21 finish in the preliminaries of the men’s 3,000-meter
steeplechase. The 8:54.67 performance wraps up the seniors outdoor
season that found the Seymour, Indiana native pick up a second-straight
All-American citation in the steeplechase event.
In addition to Wright competing in the 400-meter dash final, senior
Charlie Sparks will participate in the men’s discus throw
on Sunday. Fans can follow all of the action on ESPN2 today from
