February 15, 2007 SYCAMORES TO COMPETE IN HOOSIER HILLS OPEN FRIDAY TERRE HAUTE, Ind.- The Indiana State University Sycamores will compete in the Hoosier Hills Open in Bloomington, Ind. on Friday in their final tune-up prior to the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships, which will be held at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale Feb. 23-24. "We will be resting a few people and trying a few people in different events," Sycamore women's coach John Gartland said. A total of 28 teams will be competing in the Indiana Hoosier Hills Open on Friday with action beginning at 3 p.m. with the field events. Competition will continue through the afternoon and evening with the final two events, the 4x400 relays, set to be run at 8:25 p.m. for the women and 8:40 p.m. for the men.
