July 10, 2007 INDIANA STATE TRACK TEAM IS RECOGNIZED BY USTFCCCA NEW ORLEANS – The Indiana State University women’s track and field team was recognized by the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association as a member of the All-Academic Indoor and Outdoor Team. In all, there were 97 Division 1 teams that received recognition from the USTFCCCA. The selection of the All-Academic Indoor and Outdoor Team’s of the Year award is based on a combination of athletic and academic achievements. The top honor goes to the team that has the best finish at the Division 1 Indoor and/or Outdoor National Championships and that also holding the highest cumulative GPA. To be nominated, the team must carry a minimum 3.000 GPA.
