Reading Disabilities

This Website on Reading Disabilities has been developed and is maintained by the Blumberg Center for Special Education, Indiana State University, Terre Haute, IN. It is intended to provide information about the reading process, the nature of reading disabilities, diagnostic procedures that can be used for assessing reading difficulties, strategies that can be used to overcome reading disabilities, and resources that provide information and help.

The information provided on the Reading Disability website including such items as diagnostic methodology, intervention ideas and resources, selected school listings, suggested readings and various other informative resource materials, are provided as a service to the public and are not meant to serve as an alternative to diagnostic services and interventions provided by such specialists as school psychologists or special education teachers.
