ISU Program of National Distinction   

Financial Services is one of two Indiana State University programs to be recognized as Programs of National Distinction. This includes:  the university’s nationally recognized insurance and risk management program; Networks Financial Institute, funded by Lilly Endowment grants of $23 million; The Gongaware Center for Insurance and Financial Services, created by a $5 million gift from Don and Pat Gongaware; and The Minas Center for Investment and Financial Education, supported by an endowment from Randall and Nancy Minas to enhance investment and financial education.

Sycamore Business Advisors   

Sycamore Business Advisors -- a program in our College of Business that pairs teams of undergraduate students seeking experience with companies seeking solutions has been recognized for its innovation.  Arthur Sherwood and David F. Robinson, professors of management, received second prize in the Innovation in Business Education Award competition for their entry, "Sycamore Business Advisors Capstone Program." The award was given by the Mid-Continent East chapter of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

 Risk Management Magazine, September 2008  

Our Insurance and Risk Management program was recognized as among the best eight programs in the nation's by Risk Management magazine (September 2008).  The program was profiled in this national publication for corporate risk managers with other top programs such as the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the University of Georgia, Temple University in Philadelphia, St. John's University in New York City, among others.

Entrepreneur magazine   

The Master of Business Administration program in Indiana State University’s College of Business has one of the highest rankings in the country when it comes to student satisfaction. The program is one of 15 named to The Princeton Review’s “Student Opinion Honors for Business Schools” in the general management category. The honors list is one of six categories to appear in the April 2009 issue of Entrepreneur, the nation’s leading publication for and about entrepreneurs.
