Student Career Counselors assist and advise students to choose among educational and occupational options. Such career decisions may involve self-assessment activities and resources to help the student identify possible career paths and interests. Career Center advisors may be more useful in helping students view the larger career picture while academic advisors likely will be more effective in assisting with specific courses necessary to achieve goals and meet academic requirements.
Many Career Center services are available, at no cost, to anyone in the community. If you work with an academic unit, student organization, school or community group, we can assist you with career-related programming. You can also refer individuals to our office for assistance.
