Transportation to and from the Indianapolis International Airport
ISU Airport Shuttle
Indiana State University will be running a round trip shuttle service with limited seating to and from the Indianapolis International Airport on October 4th and October 8th (see below for scheduled pickup times). Roundtrip shuttle ticket will cost $50 per person (one way tickets are not an option). Limited seating will be available so early reservations are highly encouraged. Reservations must be made by 4:00 pm Wednesday September 21st, 2009. Once you make your reservations no refunds will be given. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-234-1639, or 1-812-237-4101 Monday-Friday between 8:30am and 4:00 pm eastern standard time. Participants must pay with either Visa or Mastercard. Those taking the shuttle must choose between one of the two pick up times on Sunday October 4th, 2009 and all return trips will leave at 7:00 am on Thursday October 8th, 2009.
Once you pick up your baggage upon arrival at the Indianapolis International Airport move to the exit doors (leading to the outside) at the center of the baggage claims area. An ISU Official will be waiting with a check off sheet and will escort you to the ISU Shuttle.

(When making airline departure reservations please allow for 90 minutes travel time to the airport in addition to the regularly recommended arrival time of 2 hours before departure time. So those wishing to take the return shuttle it is recommended that you schedule departure times no earlier than 10:30 am. (If mechanical difficulties should occur Indiana State University is not responsible for missed flights.)
NOTE: Passengers traveling on direct international flights arriving at or departing from Indianapolis will be cleared by U.S. Customs and federal security officers immediately after landing.
On average, customs inspection and clearance takes 20 minutes. Once cleared, passengers retrieve their bags in the International Arrivals on the south end of Baggage Claim.
