To move or copy content or folders within a Blackboard course, you must first login to your course, then click on Control Panel located to the left of the screen.

To move or copy, you need to navigate to the content you want to move. In this example, we will be moving one folder in Course Documents to another folder in Course Documents.

Once in Course Documents, click on Copy located to the right of the screen. When you look at any screen look to the right of the link and locate copy. If this button is present you can move that specific object (folder, file, link, etc.) to any other destination in your course.

First, confirm that what you are about to move or copy is the correct object.

Next you will need to click on Browse to identify the destination.

When you click on the browse button, a map of your course will open. Note that there are small "+" signs next to the folders. This indicates the folder contains other files or folders

Clicking on the "+" sign will expand the folder, allowing you to see what is in the folder. To select a destination, click on the radio button next to the folder.

The path to the file now appears in the Destination folder line.

It is suggested that you do not select the delete button to immediately delete the file that you are copying. Once you have selected the Destination Folder, you must choose whether or not you want the original file to be deleted (thus moving the file) or leave it and just copy the file to a new location.

When you have made all of your selections, click on Submit to continue and execute your commands.

You will receive a confirmation that the copy was complete. Now click the Ok button which is located to the right of this message.

You are now returned to the screen where you can again see your folders. Click on the destination folder, for example, click on the CCDM folder.

You are looking for the folder that you copied to the destination folder. For this example, you are looking for the Module Re-design folder which you copied into the CCDM folder.
