Changing/Declare Your Major

To a Major Inside the College of Education:

f your current major is outside the College of Education, you will need to submit a "Change of School" form. These forms are available in Education Student Services (Room 115, University Hall) or through the Office of Registration and Records (Room 009 in Parsons Hall). To be eligible for a major in the College of Education, students must have at least a 2.50 minimum cumulative GPA.

If your current major is already inside the College of Education, and you would like to switch to a different major in the College of Education, you will need to fill out a "Change of File" form. These forms are available in Education Student Services (Room 115, University Hall).

To a Major Outside the College of Education:

If your current major is inside the College of Education and you wish to change to a major outside the College of Education, you need to submit a "Change of School" form to your new program. You can obtain the required form from any Dean's Office, Education Student Services ((Room 115, University Hall)), or the Office of Registration and Records (Room 009 in Parsons Hall).

To change to a major in the College of Arts and Sciences:

You will need to fill out your request electronically. On the electronic form, only majors that are inside the College of Arts and Sciences are listed. If you are changing from a major in the College of Education, provide details about the major you are dropping in the "comments" section at the bottom of the electronic form.
