DegreeLink is an Indiana State University program that enables you to:
- TRANSFER credit earned from regionally accredited colleges and universities
- COMPLETE an ISU bachelor degree on campus -- or via distance learning

Indiana State University is a medium-sized, comprehensive university founded in 1865. The student population of approximately 11,000 includes students from throughout the United States and 61 countries. The University has offered distance learning since 1969.
Indiana State University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. This means that ISU courses and degrees are of a quality and standard recognized by employers. In addition, this ensures transferability of ISU credit to other colleges and universities, including graduate schools.

- The COLLEGE OF BUSINESS is accredited by the AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
- The NURSING PROGRAM is approved by the Indiana State Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

- The INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM is accredited by the National Association of Industrial Technology.

Affordability is an important factor when selecting a college or university.

- FINANCIAL AID: You may be eligible for financial aid if you will be completing a bachelor degree-completion program offered through the Degreelink Program. Details >>
- TUITION MANAGEMENT PLAN: The University's Tuition Management Plan allows you to pay for semester-based courses in affordable monthly payments instead of large annual or semester payments.
- TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE: Once admitted, you will receive an ISU email account, access to the ISU Portal, and technical assistance from the OIT Help Desk. In addition, Microsoft Word (and other software) is free for ISU students as part of the Student Technology Fee. Details >>
- SOFTWARE: You will not have to buy expensive software to complete your ISU courses. A few courses may require specialized software such as AutoCAD, Electronic Workbench, or SPSS software. You can access this software through a system called a Windows Terminal Server. Details >>

- DISTANCE COURSES are offered primarily online (via the Internet). Selected courses are offered via Desktop Videoconferencing and live I-TV (accessible at selected receive sites).
These formats enable you to schedule your courses and earn credit - in your community - around your work and family commitments.

Indiana State University accepts credit earned from Ivy Tech Community College, Vincennes University, and many other regionally accredited colleges and universities. In addition, several programs offer credit for work experience.

If you are entering Ivy Tech Community College or Vincennes University - and you plan to transfer an associate degree to an Indiana State University bachelor degree - you are eligible for special transfer opportunities.
Many Ivy Tech and VU associate degrees "link" to ISU bachelor degrees and ensure maximum credit transfer. Benefits include: streamlined credit transfer and advisement, a dual admission option, financial aid, and scholarships. See Chart (below) for details.
