Distance Learners Handbook

ID Cards


Once admitted, distance students should contact Traffic and Parking Services to obtain a student identification (ID) card.

To request an ID card, call 1-812-237-8888.  Or e-mail parking@indstate.edu

The email must include:

  1. The student's name.
  2. The student's University identification number. This is the student's 991 number, not social security number.
  3. The student's complete mailing address (street and/or post office box).

Note:  Many businesses—throughout the United States—offer student discounts. Your ID card is proof that you are an ISU student. Remember to present your ID card, and ask if a student discount is available.
