Plagiarism

Honesty requires that full acknowledgment be given to ideas or materials taken from another source.

Offering the work (including, but not limited to, tests, papers, and assignments) of another person as one's own is plagiarism. Plagiarism also refers to copying another student's lessons and submitting them for grading as one's own work. A student who allows another student to copy lessons is equally guilty of academic dishonesty.

Plagiarism is a violation of the University's student conduct code; the offense is dealt with accordingly. Violations may result in the student receiving a failing grade for the course and the forfeiture of all course fees.
