All courses in the Human Resource Development Program are offered on-line (via the Internet).

HRD 605 Developing Performance Based Occupational Curriculum—3 credits. Identification and development of performance-based occupational course content. Students will become familiar with essentials, selection, and prioritizing of course content.

HRD 670 Systematic Design of HRD Programs—3 credits. The design of HRD programs includes strategic planning, establishing benchmarks, cost estimating for implementation, and operation. A systems approach includes needs assessment, designing, delivery system, and materials selection. Prerequisites: 605 or equivalent.

HRD 675 Leadership in Human Resource Development—3 credits. A study of concepts and practices of leadership in human resource development for education and industry. Students will investigate concepts and practices of leadership, organizational culture, and explore how they affect people within an organization.

HRD 695 Rationale and Evaluation of HRD Programs—3 credits. Provides experiences in establishing the foundations for and the evaluation of the many facets of HRD training programs. Prerequisite: 670.
