FAFSA - 1st Step!


Applying for most federal and state aid starts with completing the Free Application Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The most efficient way to apply for financial aid is to apply only at www.fafsa.gov.  This electronic version contains additional instructions and help features, built in edits that reduce applicant error and allow the U.S. Department of Education to send the application results to you and ISU  more quickly.

We recommend filing the FAFSA by March 1st in order to be considered for all possible funding sources.  Do not forget to list the ISU school code (001807) on your FAFSA.
