Eastman Collection
These selected figure studies, executed in charcoal and
chalk, are from a group of seventy-four drawings by Frank
Samuel Eastman (1878 - 1964).
An English artist actively exhibiting between 1902 and 1940,
Eastman's work was seen in London at the Royal Academy 36 times and
the Walker Gallery 95 times. This collection was gifted to Indiana
State University by a Mr. Lee Howard in 1999.
