Bradley installed as university's 11th president

The future Indiana State University President Daniel J. Bradley sees for the university is of an institution that is both bigger and better. In remarks in conjunction with his formal installation as the 11th president in Indiana State's 143-year history, Bradley made it clear input from across the campus and the greater Terre Haute community will be vital in guiding the university's future in an ever-changing world.

Veterans oral histories project preserves legacy of service
On Veterans Day, members of the Indiana State University community and Wabash Valley took time to honor those who have served their country. A collection of oral history interviews were shown and a demonstration interview was conducted, both part of a larger effort to preserve local history.

Whiteland Community High School presented Sycamore Community Leadership Award
Indiana State University, the Indiana lieutenant governor's office and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs recognized eight high schools around the state Nov. 12 for their community service work.

University Hall goes 'green'
The more than 70-year-old University Hall on the Indiana State University campus retains its familiar brown brick exterior, but the building is going "green" as it undergoes a renovation to serve as the new home of the ISU College of Education. The nearly $30 million project uses a number of approaches to address energy conservation and environmental sustainability.
