WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING AN HONORS STUDENT?

There are lots of ways to get involved as an Honors student and meet new people.  There are also some great leadership opportunities to take advantage of. I like how the classes are smaller and you get to know the professors better.  Also, you get to schedule classes early.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE HONORS CLASS SO FAR, AND WHY?

GH 201: Great Works with Linda Maule.  The class had some great discussions about interesting topics that don’t just have easy answers. The papers I wrote for her class were challenging, but some of my favorites of my college career.

FAVORITE PLACES TO STUDY/ STUDY TIPS FOR FRESHMEN HONORS STUDENTS?

I like to go to a coffee shop when I really need to get things done—like Starbucks or Coffee Grounds. Don’t procrastinate!

WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT FOR THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR?

I’m excited to meet the new freshmen, hang out with friends, and to get into more of the classes for my major.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR FRESHMEN HONORS STUDENTS?

Meet new people, get involved in things you enjoy, stay on campus on the weekends, and have fun :)
