Several national nonprofit organizations partner with American Humanics.
These organizations provide American Humanics with input into what
competencies should be included in the curriculum. In addition, these
partner organizations offer many American Humanics students and alumni
internship and employment opportunities. Among the organizations who are
looking for professional employees are:
American Humanics (AH) received an AmeriCorps Professional Corps grant
through the Corporation for National and Community Service.
The American Humanics AmeriCorps*Professional Corps (AH AmeriCorps*ProCorps)
grant is designed to support programs that serve volunteers and/or at-risk
youth.
American Humanics ProCorps (AH ProCorps) members will serve as paid,
community-based nonprofit professionals to serve volunteer programs and
programs focused on at-risk youth.
Participants will be recruited from students and alumni of AH affiliated
universities. Upon completion of an AH AmeriCorps*ProCorps term of service,
members will receive an AmeriCorps Education Award to be applied to student
loans or tuition. Full time members can receive $4,725 for 1700 hours of
service.
