Indiana State
University has adopted voluntary flexible spending
accounts for employees desiring to participate.
Employees may designate a calendar year amount to tax
defer from their paychecks to be used to pay for
eligible medical and dependent care expenses. This money
can be used to pay for items not covered, deductibles,
co-pays or approved over-the-counter items. Dependent
care accounts will also be offered on a voluntary basis.
The program is available to all benefit eligible
employees. The next opportunity to enroll will be during
the open enrollment period during the month of
November to have a FSA account starting the following
January 1st. This is a calendar year benefit and you
must re-enroll every year to maintain your account.
If you have any questions, please call Staff Benefits
at (812) 237-8082.
