Rachel Cowan,
Student Services Coordinator
Rachel has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Indiana State University and plans to go for a Master's in a few years. Although she has not traveled outside of the United States, she hopes to visit a foreign country one day.
Being the Student Services Coordinator and Administrative Assistant at INTERLINK is truly rewarding for her in that she gets to interact with staff and students in the education field AND meet people from other cultures. "I learn something new every day at INTERLINK," she says. "The most rewarding, yet hardest, part of my position is seeing the students graduate from the program. I am so proud of each student who worked so hard to learn English, yet it is hard to see them leave INTERLINK and move on with their academic careers.

Ron Engel,
Instructor
I have been
teaching at Interlink in both Terre Haute, Indiana
and Greensboro, North Carolina. Teaching English as
a Second Language has been a career that I have
really enjoyed. When I first started to teach, I had
the opportunity to work and live in Morocco, Spain,
and Mexico. Having had the opportunity to study,
travel, work, and live in places where the languages
and cultures are different from my own has been very
rewarding. Those experiences have helped me to
better understand what my Interlink students are
experiencing.
What I like
most about being a teacher at Interlink is the
contact that I am able to have with people who come
from so many different places and backgrounds.
