International Education week -- November 16 to November 20

International Education Week (IEW) is global celebration sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and Department of Education aimed at promoting the benefits of international education and exchange.

During this year's IEW, November 16 to November 20, a variety of workshops and events will take on the ISU campus and in the community. The Office of International Programs and Services is looking for current international students and scholars who are interested in speaking about an aspect of their cultures or countries to ISU classes.

If you are interested in this possibility, please email the IPS at isu-ips@indstate.edu

SOCIAL SUPPORT GROUP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Are you feeling stressed out, lonely, or isolated?  Are you worried about adjusting to life in the U.S. or wish you had someone to talk to? Do you want to feel more connected with or share your experiences in the U.S. with other international students?

You are not alone!  The Social Support Group for International Students is a safe space where you can talk about your concerns, get great support from other group members, and empower others who need your support.  Through sharing thoughts, feelings, and concerns in this safe space, you will learn skills, support, and resources from other group members and the group
facilitator.

For more information about joining, please contact Duk-Hae Sung at dsung@indstate.edu.
