conduct class. Only currently enrolled members may participate in any

the instructor's discretion.
The
Instructor will require participants to leave the class if they are being
disruptive, endangering the safety of others, or are
misusing the equipment.
Participants in the Indoor Cycling
program are responsible for cleaning the bike after each use. All
participants must have a water bottle and towel when participating in the

Equipment and Cardiovascular
Training Areas
|
Please
use the cardiovascular sign-up sheet at the main desk area. The use of
equipment is on a first-come first-serve basis.
Limit
yourself to 30 minutes on all cardiovascular
equipment when other Le Club members are waiting to use the equipment or
during peak times of use.
The
treadmill belt should be moving before standing on it. Increase the speed
and elevation gradually to the desired workload.
If unsure
as to how to use a piece of equipment, consult with the staff member on
duty.
Due to
the high risk of injury it is recommended that you use a spotter when
training with maximum weights. If you do not have a training partner, ask
the staff member on duty to spot you.
Please
allow others to use the equipment between sets.
RACK ALL WEIGHTS AND DUMBBELLS after each
use. Remove plates from bars when you are finished using them.
Wearing a
lifting belt is advised when doing squats, press motion overhead, or dead
lifts. Do not wear the belt when using the Polaris bicep and leg curl
machine, or the Preacher bench. The belt buckle can puncture the
upholstery.
Olympic
collars and clamps should be used to ensure plates do not slide off the
bar. Do not rest plates and dumbbells against the walls or equipment, as
well as avoid dropping them on the floor. You will receive two warnings for
dropping weights. On the third warning, we will ask you to leave. Pieces of
rubber mat are available to "double mat" if needed.
NO WEIGHT LIFTING CHALK IS TO BE USED IN THE
FACILITIES.
