Kelly Bates Oglesby joined the CIRT (Center for Instruction, Research and Technology) team as the Grants Specialist in September 2008. Her responsibilities include
assisting faculty in searching for external grant funding to support their research interests. She also facilitates the internal mini grants program which funds
faculty for pilot projects, course assessments, and professional travel. Kelly also leads seminars for faculty on grant writing and related topics. Kelly is currently
a doctoral student at Indiana State University in the Curriculum Instruction and Media Technology department.

Kelly has worked or volunteered in the nonprofit sphere for over a decade, specializing in grant funded programs. She has experience in writing, evaluating, and
developing grant applications. Kelly is a member of the National Council of University Research Administrators.
