Scholar Biography:
My name is Ruben J. David and I am senior Psychology major at ISU. The focus of my research is to study the effects of certain chemical supplements, meditative techniques, and cognitive training procedures on cognitive performance. I would hope that my findings would show evidence for improvement in cognitive performance towards college coursework. After summer of 2008, I intend to obtain a doctorate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. My career goal is to apply research into increasing workplace productivity, qualifying employees, and testing products.
Along with being a member of various campus organizations, I am an active member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and I work as the senior lab technician for the Offices of Informational Technology at ISU. In addition, I seldom work as a server at Ruby Tuesday located south of the ISU campus. When I'm not working, I enjoy time with my family, playing guitar, and competing at tennis and basketball. I hope one day to travel around the world and taste the cuisine's of the world.
