My name is Cassie Gray, and I am a senior geology major. Many aspects of geology interest me, so there are many possibilities
for the future. I intend to study oceanography at the graduate school level and eventually attain a Ph.D. My research project
for the McNair Program involves studying the foraminifera (single-celled organisms) of the Venice Lagoon, Italy, to determine
the effects of contamination within the lagoon.
