I am a geology major and chemistry minor. I plan on pursuing a Ph.D. in oceanography. My career interests include global change and learning about the
interactions between the oceans, land, and atmosphere, with respect to
pollution and anthropogenic damages. In the future, I hope to study, learn, and develop new methods
that can help protect and preserve our oceans, marine life, and people,
as well as predict future climate system responses to the environment.

I run for ISU’s cross country and track & field
teams and I am also an active member of Earth Science club. In addition, I am a teaching assistant for Dr. Allen’s chemistry
labs. I love to spend time
with family, friends, and my two cats, collect rocks, recycle, be
creative, and have fun doing outdoor activities, especially deep sea
fishing, crabbing, and surfing when I am on the coast.
