I am a junior Math Education major from South Bend, Indiana. I am the
youngest of three children and I come from a family of educators.
Though I serve as a member of the McNair Program, I am also a Sycamore
Scholar and a Noyce Scholar for math and science education majors. I
enjoy working within the Indiana State community and I do so in various
organizations such as: the Vice President of NAACP, Deputy President
Pro-Tempore in the Student Government Association Senate, the Director
of Programs in Sankofa, Union Board, and the Ebony Majestic Choir.
Education is a continuous process and I want to do all that I can to
give others knowledge. I know that being involved with the McNair
Program with gives me that edge I need to enter graduate school.
