I am majoring in Psychology with an interest in Neuroscience, Animal Behavior and Evolutionary Psychology and graduating May 2013. I am interested in the cognitive processes behind learning, consciousness and the similarity of those processes between humans and other animals. I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and would like to examine the parity in functions of the minds of humans and other animals. It is my opinion that people underrate the capabilities of nonhuman animals, and that humans are not the only animals to have consciousness.

In my spare time I like to paint, collect and read literature, observe wildlife, watch foreign films (I’m a fan of Japanese horror) and play video games.
