I am an Honors student in the language studies program
at Indiana State University (ISU). I plan on
graduating from ISU in December of 2011. In
graduate school I will earn graduate degrees in Classics
and Library Science. My eventual goal is to become
a Librarian Specialist which works in the Special
Collections department at an academic Library. In
this position I want to provide help to students
conducting college level research.

During my time at ISU I have been involved in the
Mideast Honors Association (MEHA) by going to give a
professional presentation about my research. I
have been a teacher’s assistant multiple times and like
to provide help to other students. I have also
volunteered at the Light House Mission. I have
been fortunate to receive the Top Scholar Scholarship from
ISU, the Mary Davies Ellis Scholarship from the Parke County
Community Association, and have recently been able to
participate in the McNair Scholar Program. |
