Nik Taylor received his Bachelor of Music degree in oboe performance at the Eastman School of Music, where he studied with Richard Killmer. Before Eastman, he studied with Daniel Stolper at the Interlochen Arts Academy.
Since 2009, Mr. Taylor has played English horn with the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra. He also performs with the ISU Woodwind Quintet.
In addition to teaching and playing the oboe, Mr. Taylor is pursuing a Ph.D. in musicology at Indiana University in Bloomington, where he is writing his dissertation on the cantatas of Georg Philipp Telemann.
