Department of Music
Music Scholarships
A total of over $190,000 in scholarships and service awards is
awarded each year by the Department of Music. New students are eligible
for consideration for these awards at the time of audition. Returning
students audition for awards and renewal of awards during the spring
semester. Dates for scholarship auditions are available from the
Department of Music office. The
scholarship application may be downloaded here.
The Indiana State University Department of Music awards a number
of Creative and Performing Arts Scholarships each year. These scholarships
are available through audition to music students who demonstrate
excellence in musical and academic performance.
Private donors have also made funds available for students to
assist them in their musical studies. The amounts of these awards
vary and are based on musical talent and academic promise. These
scholarships include:
