Upcoming graduation ceremonies

The Office of Multicultural Services and Programs are pleased to announce the dates for the graduation ceremonies for Fall 2017.

The first ceremony, the Lavender Graduation, will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, De. 7 in the Hulman Memorial Student Union, Dede II. ­Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony conducted on numerous campuses to honor the LGBTQ+ students and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the university. ­ Any LGBTQ+ student and Allies can take part in the graduation ceremony. This event is free and open to the public. Please feel free to wear your regalia; however it is not required.

The second ceremony is the Hispanic Graduation Ceremony. For Fall 2017 ONLY, we will be combining this ceremony with the Global Graduation that will be on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Hispanic Graduation Ceremony is one created to celebrate our students of Hispanic/Latin descent.

The final ceremony will be the Global Graduation Ceremony. This celebration will held from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9 in the Tirey Hall, Heritage Ballroom. Once again you are invited to wear your regalia for the ceremony. All faculty and staff will be allowed to precede the graduates as part of the program.
