New Horizons Information Day set for Dec. 15

October 22, 2014

Designed for adults, ages 25 years and up, the New Horizons Band at the Indiana State University's Community School of the Arts is for individuals with little or no musical background who want to learn to read music, play an instrument and join others who are taking the same steps.

The information day is 6 p.m. Dec. 15 and designed for newcomers thinking about joining the band. The regularly scheduled New Horizons class will be open for observation. Norm Hanson, director of New Horizons, will be available to answer questions. Instruments will be on display to try. Refreshments will be served. This event is free of charge.

Come to the Landini Center for Performing and Fine Arts, Room 159, 300 N. 7th St., to see and hear what New Horizons does. Free parking is available on any staff or student lot after 5 p.m.
